Doresu – Return, Exchange & Cancellation Policy
At Doresu, we want you to love what you ordered. However, if something doesn’t feel right, we’re here to make the return and exchange process as smooth and easy as possible.
Free One-Time Returns & Exchanges
- You can return or exchange items from your original order within 5 days from the date of delivery.
- Items must be unused, with original tags, and the packaging intact.
- Please note: Items received in exchange cannot be returned or exchanged again, so kindly select your replacement (style, size, or color) carefully when raising your initial exchange request.
After 5 Days
Unfortunately, after 5 days from delivery, we will not be able to accommodate returns or exchanges. We appreciate your understanding.
Damaged or Incorrect Product
In the unlikely event that your order arrives damaged, defective, or different from what you placed, please raise an exchange/return request through our website within 5 days of delivery.
- Any issue reported after 5 days will not be eligible for return or exchange.
- If pickup service is unavailable for your pincode, you may need to self-ship the product to our warehouse. In such cases, we will reimburse up to ₹200 for courier charges upon receiving a valid courier bill/receipt.
Size Chart Note
- We urge you to carefully review the size chart before placing your order. Each garment comes with extra margins inside, allowing you to get it altered locally if needed.
- Please note: the sizes listed are ready garment measurements. For example, if your actual chest size is 36", please order size 38" (M).
- Understanding this and selecting the correct size will help save valuable time and effort for both you and us.
Combo or Multi-Item Orders
- If you purchased a combo and return only part of it, the refund will be calculated based on the individual product price (not the combo price).
- For multiple-item orders with discounts, if you return one or more items, the discount will be recalculated based on the items you choose to keep.
Exchange for Different Products
- You may exchange your item for another product of equal or lower value.
- If the replacement product is of lower value, we will give you a credit note for the amount once your exchange is completed.
- Please note: Payment gateway–specific discounts (e.g., prepaid or UPI offers) will not be reapplied in the new order.
- For International orders, (outside India) we cannot offer any exchange.
- We also cannot exchange/refund a discounted/sale product or any product which has been discontinued (for all customers).
Cancellation Policy
- Orders can be cancelled before they are shipped.
- Once shipped, cancellations are not possible. Since some orders may ship immediately, we recommend reaching out to our support team promptly if you wish to cancel.
Refund Policy
- Refunds are ONLY offered IF you receive a wrong or badly damaged product. In such cases please write to us within 72 hours of receiving the product with pictures at vrinda@doresu.in. Please note we use handmade fabrics that may have uneven patches or dye marks. This will not be considered a defect as this is a part of natural process which we proudly patron.
- For cancelled orders before shipping: Refunds are initiated immediately and typically reflect in your original payment method within 3–5 business days.
- For returned items: Once received and inspected at our warehouse, store credits will be processed within 1–2 business days into your Doresu Account (not the original payment source).
- For exchanges with lower value items: The difference amount will be credited as store credit in your Doresu account once the exchange is successfully delivered.
Store Credit
- The store credit will not have any expiry and you can use it anytime.
- It cannot be clubbed with any other offer/discount.
- The new order value must be the same or equal to the credit note given. We won’t be able to issue another note with the balance amount.
- We offer exchange only once per transaction. Please ask us any questions beforehand. Once exchanged, an order cannot be exchanged again.
Important Notes
- Please hand over only the item(s) marked for return/exchange during pickup. No quality check is done at the time of pickup, so Doresu will not be responsible for any incorrect items given.
- Always collect a physical pickup receipt. This serves as proof in case tracking does not update. Doresu will not be liable if pickup is not recorded and no receipt is available.

Shipping Policy
Courier Partners: We ship all orders through reliable courier companies such as Delhivery. All shipments are fully insured until delivery.
Cash on Delivery (COD): For COD orders, courier partners may call before delivery. If you are unavailable, you can request re-delivery or pick up your order from their nearest center.
Orders are usually shipped within — business days after confirmation.
Estimated delivery time is 5 to 7 business days, depending on your location.
Please note: Delays may occur due to courier issues or if the customer is unavailable at the time of delivery.
Shipping Charges: Shipping and handling charges (if any) will be displayed at checkout before payment.
Damaged or Tampered Packages: If you receive a package that appears tampered with or damaged, please do not accept delivery. Instead, contact our support team immediately with photos before opening the package. Claims for shortages/damages must be reported on the same day of delivery through our Contact Us form.
Out-of-Stock Items: Products marked “Out of Stock” are not available for purchase.
Responsibility: Doresu is not responsible for packages signed for by someone other than the designated recipient, or for damages occurring after successful delivery.
