Doresu was born from a feeling many women know but rarely talk about.

As two women in our mid forties, we found ourselves searching for clothes that reflected the women we had become. We wanted pieces that felt elegant without trying too hard, modern without chasing trends, and comfortable without compromising on style. But time and again, we realised the wardrobe we were looking for simply did not exist.

So we decided to create it.

The name Doresu, inspired by the Japanese word for "dress", came from three years spent living in Tokyo. It was there that we discovered a different way of seeing beauty. One that celebrated simplicity, paid attention to the smallest details, and found joy in everyday rituals. Those values continue to shape everything we create.

Every collection begins with a simple question. How do we want a woman to feel when she puts this on?
